The Social Media Manager will be responsible for shaping our overall organic social media strategy, audience growth plan, content strategy, and measurement framework with a focus on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Youtube and LinkedIn
Responsibilities:
Manage and grow the social media presence of the Rentyl Resort /Apartment properties
Create and maintain a social media content calendar and post scheduling
Design compelling social media graphics for various social media platforms using graphic design software such as Photoshop / Canva
Work with the marketing team to create social media strategies and campaigns around partner activities, promotions, and events
Write post language and produce copy of varying tone and messaging based on the social platform and partners’ target audience
Engage with and respond to followers who send direct messages, comment on posts, or tag our partners on social media
Keep up to date on and implement the latest updates, best practices, and trends on each social media platform
Oversee our team of Social Media Specialists and Reputation Coordinators
Develops, owns and executes toward goals and performance metrics for social handles; uses critical understanding of historical data, effectiveness, strategy and creative, making recommendations for continuous improvement; reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
Continuously improves Standard Operating Procedures for our processes such as social listening, social content publishing and channel partnerships
Requirements:
5 years of experience managing multiple social media accounts and growing social media presence on all social platforms.
Comprehensive understanding of best practices standards for all social media channels including and not limited to Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
Demonstrated experience building strategy around content, voice, user-generated content, and community to deliver a best-in-class social media experience across all platforms.
Experience building, executing, and expanding an influencer marketing strategy.
Solid track record of building, coaching, and mentoring social teams.
Experience in Hospitality/Retail Industry is a plus
