Spa Receptionist PT – Waldorf Astoria Boca Raton Resort


The Boca Raton Resort & Club is seeking a part time Spa Reception Agent.
A Spa Reception Agent will be greeting and registering guests entering the
spa/salon/health club/fitness center. A Spa Reception Agent provides the Spa
managers with administrative and clerical support including word processing|
typing| e-mailing| filing| data-entry| faxing| copying| corresponding|
answering telephones| processing mail| taking notes and/or dictation| making
travel arrangements and performing other general office duties.
What will I be doing?
Average Percent of Time:
85% – Provides efficient guest service from point of arrival to check out.
Books| changes| cancels appointments. Sells retail.
10% – Assists with laundry and tidies up the locker rooms and lounge area.

Supportive Functions:

In addition to performance of the essential functions| this position may be
required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions| with
the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the
supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

•Accurately schedule all Spa and Salon reservations| changes| cancellations in
Spa Soft| confirm reservations and inform guest of Spa Policies.

•Accurately process all billing and posting for spa and retail services:
report any overages and shortages to supervisor.

•Accurately explain spa treatment menu and packages to guests.

•Greet and welcome all incoming and outgoing guests and staff in accordance to
Resort Standards.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for Development/Sustaining DELLEMC High End Enterprise Storage platform
Remotely troubleshoot and resolve complex product and customer environment issues at engineering/sustaining level support and as a team ensure 24 7 coverage.
Identify code bugs- product related issues or negative trends in field escalations- document in bug tracking systems. Quantify the impact on support and customer of these problems and work directly with DTS sustaining development team in determining severity- priority and targeted code for fix.
Facilitate knowledge transfer to cross-functional sustaining engineering team for existing product components- bug triage and fix methods- and be the technical reviewer of all knowledge centered solutions. Where applicable- sustaining engineering document and present detailed procedures to be used by high level support for adhoc workarounds.
Engage in Corporate Quality efforts to measure the quality critical code fixes and procedures. Provide root cause analysis of high impact cases and put in place procedural fixes that ensure the problems are avoided in the future.
Identify areas where product serviceability causes inefficiencies and problems for field and remote support staff. Cogitate as a team and advise short term solutions.
Develop platform level scripts that aid in removing human error- speed up triage or empower support to carry out more complicated investigation and fixes.
Stay current on latest technologies- features- components and fix utilizing lab environments. Setup and maintain local lab environments utilizing these systems during escalation triage.

Essential Requirements

Software Development in C programming.
Strong knowledge & troubleshooting skills and experience on DELLEMC VMAX (Enterprise Storage)
General knowledge and application of engineering concepts
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Understanding of business environment.
Experience working on enterprise class systems
Ability to work in a team environment.

Desirable Requirements

Self-starter with strong self-motivation- able to work under remote management with directives limited to general goals.
