As the Senior Compensation Manager, Market Insights & Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the planning and administration of global cash compensation programs at Atlassian including: annual market analysis & base pay structure development, annual salary budget planning, offer package design & support, and global pay policies and compliance. This role will lead a team of Compensation Specialists located around the world, and will liaise with a cross-functional team of Talent Acquisition, People Technology, global compensation team members, and People team centers of excellence.

Success in this position requires strong people management skills, and the ability to collaborate and bring teams together from all parts of the world. A strong background in Compensation is required, along with analytical and problem-solving skills. The right candidate will help us to ensure forward thinking design & analytics tools to support our fast-growing constantly evolving organization. Combining data and feedback from Atlassians with the latest industry research, you will make large-scale, data-driven decisions that will have a huge impact.
In this role, you’ll get to:
Lead a small team of Compensation professionals with responsibility for hiring, coaching, rewarding, developing, and inspiring the team
Lead and ensure effective management of various compensation workstreams including annual salary benchmarking, market insights, salary structure development, salary planning budgets, pay programs and compliance, and reviewing compensation insights with leadership.
Ensure appropriate governance and adherence to Atlassian’s compensation philosophy, policies and global labor law requirements.
Ensure alignment with our corporate compensation philosophy, participate in the review of market data and creation of market reference ranges, including report development, analysis of market data, movement recommendation and costing for both US and all other countries
Responsible for project management of compensation programs, policies and processes. Act as internal authority regarding compensation analytics, programs and processes for the company
Collaborate with People Technology resources on tool execution, improvements and enhancements
Identify processes, programs or capabilities that could benefit from automation or re-engineering
Drive end-to-end consistency across programs
Remain current on global compensation technical solutions and introduce solutions to improve internal programs
Lead global market analysis exercise; being an authority on major external survey methodologies and have deep insights in market data utilization globally
Convert data outcomes into insights and partner with our Comp Business Partner team to share executive ready presentations with senior leaders
Ensure that the base compensation structure is externally competitive and internally equitable.
Assist in the development and dissemination of effective communication materials that improve the understanding and value of compensation programs
On the first day, we’ll expect you to have:
Bachelor’s Degree with 5-10 years of compensation experience
Prior experience leading a team of compensation professionals who focus on global market analysis & salary structure development
Passion for coaching & developing teams, and for collaborating across large, complex organizations
Experience leading global compensation projects
Excellent analytical capabilities, experience with big data and interfacing between HRIS applications, solid financial and compensation modeling skills and ability to communicate persuasively with business partners to resolve highly complex problems.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate, design and recommend market competitive programs aligned to business strategy.
Work regularly and comfortably with high-level individual contributors and leaders across multiple functions. Track record of influencing at the senior leadership level.
Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to articulate and distill complex issues.
Ability to manage change effectively always mindful of technology and business process implications.

Your Impact
You will lead and deliver data analytics support to maintenance and capital planning and optimization initiatives with some of the largest, iconic infrastructure owners and operators, across multiple sectors in the United States.
Work within our maintenance optimization and asset management planning and systems implementation delivery teams providing data analytics support and contributing to the development of new asset data standards, defining improved asset maintenance and capital strategies, and data process improvements
Work collaboratively within a team leveraging your experience and understanding of data analytics, asset management systems and related technologies, and knowledge of maintenance reliability
Work with our clients to extract and cleanse data and information to fully leverage existing data sets, and determine analytic approaches
Use state of the art asset data analytics tools and business intelligence platforms.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications

In recognition of the full strategic suite of services offered by Advisory Services, the following degree requirements apply:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Data Sciences, Business, Economics, Finance, Urban or Transportation Planning, Environmental Studies, Liberal Arts, Public Policy, Operations Research, or closely related discipline.
7 to 10 years of relevant post education experience in discipline and in a management consulting or client advisory capacity.
Proficient with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management; including active involvement in a variety of rehabilitation and new design projects.
Extensive knowledge of management consulting and ability to coordinate with clients, agency regulators and understand requirements.
A good understanding of infrastructure, equipment maintenance and management
A good understanding of, and ability to apply technologies used to support data and information analysis and management – for example; Excel, Access, SQL, R, Python, Machine Learning, Tableau, Power BI
An understanding of the use and structure of Enterprise Asset Management Systems – including Maximo, Infor, and other systems
Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional IQ
Strong team player who can get things done
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.

The GDIT Web Application and Development Team (TZDev) seeks to fill a full-time, Database Administrator role, to provide dedicated support to the Center for Computational Toxicology & Exposure (CCTE) project within the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

This role is situated on a team that provides IT infrastructure and application support to disperse information developed in CCTE and will routinely interface with a variety of personnel, including Developers (Java), Data Engineers, System Administrators, Scientists, and Project Managers.

The selected candidate will interface with a Product Team and CCTE subject matter experts and will be responsible for but not limited to installation, capacity planning, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, administration & management of user accounts, troubleshooting, disaster recovery as well as backup and data recovery to ensure the availability and consistent performance of CCTE’s scientific software and applications.

The selected candidate for this role must have a high degree of attention to detail as well as a collaborative and solution-oriented working style. The ideal candidate for the role will be a self-starter and has a high degree of self-discipline to meet business objectives and requirements.

Description of Function:

Install, configure, administer, manage, and document MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL (MongoDB) in a Master with Replicas configuration across several nodes already procured by CCTE for high availability and high-performance scenarios
Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution
Advise Division management officials regarding integration of IT programs with other programs of equivalent scope and complexity. Lead engineering and architecture activities related to database performance monitoring & optimization
Develop new theories, concepts principles and work methods to significantly improve relational and non-relational data stores for designing, configuring, implementing, and documenting relational and non-relational data stores consisting of main-replica systems. Manage database assets including maintenance of inventory and related documentation
Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide expert level Database Administrator services for production, stage, and development databases across all platforms. Works closely with senior developers and data modelers to perform physical database design for critical business applications/databases with the largest numbers of interfaces and users and complex query tuning and schema.
Use expert communication and collaboration skills to advise leadership regarding integration of IT programs with other programs of equivalent scope and complexity; lead engineering and architecture activities; provide domain and technical expertise, provide technical mentorship and cross-training to peers and team members
Work involves analyzing the user experience of a variety of Agency IT programs and recommending design changes that can enhance the user experience
Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experience

Required Qualifications:

Experience working in Linux environments
Strong command-line experience including AWS CLI, PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting skills
Experience with Administering SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) technologies
Ability to perform complex command-line scripts and perform SQL queries
Experience with AWS RDS Administration

The likely salary range for this position is $77,875 – $130,062, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
