We are looking for passionate, entrepreneurial, and tech-savvy Sr. Java Back-end Engineer with 10+ years’ experience for our Versa Analytics Team.

Job Summary
We are looking for Sr. Java Back-end Engineer for Versa’s analytics platform who can work on implementing customer driven features/enhancements as well as improving the scalability, performance and operational aspects of the overall solution. Candidate should be able to contribute to both on-prem and cloud based analytics solutions. Candidate should be able to work with different teams such as development/customer, support engineers in various geographical locations for troubleshooting production issues, proof of concepts, demos etc as and when required

Qualifications
Analytics backend engineer with around 10 years experience
Extensive java programming experience
Experience with big data technologies Cassandra/solr/kafka/redis
Experience working on linux/unix based OS.
Domain experience in computer networking a plus
Experience in front end technologies (react/angular etc) a plus
Experience in python scripting a plus
Good experience with large scale distributed computing system/environment and micro services architecture
Self-driven, ability to resolve technical issues through debugging, research and investigation.

Essential Skills
5+ years of experience with OOP, Java/J2EE, Multi-Threading, Data Structures/Algorithms
5+ years of experience with Spring MVC framework, REST-API /JAX-RS (Designing, development) and messaging bus technologies (AMQP, RabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka, gRPC)
Strong experience with RDBMS and NO SQL databases
Good experience with large scale distributed computing system/environment and micro services architecture
Self-driven, ability to resolve technical issues through debugging, research and investigation.
Experience in networking, security, device management, NETCONF, CLI is a plus.
Experience in cloud management, orchestration, Virtualization, AWS, Azure and GPC environments
Exposure with YANG Data modeling is a plus

Job Description
6 + years of software design and Java/J2EE development experience, hands-on troubleshooting, and deployment experience. Experience in Web Technologies and secured Web Services. Experience in SOA/Middleware SOAP service design and development. Experience with XML, XSD, WSDL, JDBC, MQ, SOAP concepts. Experience with Monitoring and Logging tools such as SUMO, Dynatrace. Solid knowledge of Cloud-native development, concepts, RESTful APIs and microservices with Springboot. Experience in Agile methodologies, CI/CD Pipeline, DevOps and Build tools (GIT, Jenkins Ant, Maven, Gradle). DevSecOps and/or automation experience in code testing, building, and deployment using tools like VeraCode, SonarQube, Tekton or Jenkins, GitHub and/or GitLab. Experience with automation and test tools (Postman, Mockito, Junit, SonarQube, Rest-Assured).
