How you’ll make a difference:
In this Data Analyst role, you’ll partner with various channels within Supply Chain to analyze trends, identify opportunities for improvement in core competency areas such as cost savings or order cycle times, and surface and track critical KPIs.
This role will be responsible for driving better data quality, identifying trends and making recommendations to capitalize on opportunities and shaping our evolving vision within Supply Chain and Custom Ink.
The projects we take on span across Supply Chain and Custom Ink. Recent example projects include:
Operational and production capacity forecasting and scenario planning to inform our enterprise demand planning and marketing strategy
Risks and opportunities analysis to drive the evolution of our fulfillment process
Assessing the value of various methodological approaches to improve our logistics decision algorithm
You will need to show an understanding of SQL databases and have completed some analytics projects in your current role. This role will report to our Director of Supply Chain Optimization.
What you’ll do:
As a Supply Chain Data Analyst, you’ll:
Deliver timely and valuable insights to contribute to the success of Custom Ink’s fulfillment lifecycle
Understand business objectives behind requests and make recommendations to improve their impact
Synthesize information to provide clear picture of performance and determine opportunities for improvement
Stay connected to analysis for all business areas to provide support on a variety of projects as needed
Support forecasting models across the procurement, scheduling, production, and shipping processes
Provide subject matter expertise as it relates to supply chain modeling and optimization
Demonstrate strong collaboration and analytical business thinking
Bring consistency to metrics used throughout the organization
Drive data quality improvements to increase stakeholder confidence
How you’ll be measured:
Success in this role is critical to the successful and healthy growth of Supply Chain and Custom Ink, and success will be measured by:
Quality of analysis, insights, recommendations & impact
Strength of relationships with other leaders and analysts
Elevation of related Analytics capabilities
What we’re looking for:
We’ve set our sights high, and the ideal candidate will be strong in the following areas:
Experience performing analysis on large and often incomplete data sets and translating results for consumption by business partners
Expert in Excel
Strong skills in SQL
Previous skills with Tableau, SAS, SPSS or R desired
Excellence in statistics, data and analytics, predictive modeling & hypothesis testing
Values data integrity and accurate reporting
Strong communication skills – Strong analysis is a great starting point, but we are also looking for someone who can help connect business partners with the summary and implications of that analysis work.
Agility – ability to juggle multiple ongoing projects and work both collaboratively and autonomously at times
A passion for continuous improvement and problem solving, with a genuine desire to own and build something special
