In fact, IDC predicts that unstructured data volume will hit 40 Zettabytes in 2020, up from 4.4 Zettabytes in 2013. In addition, we are also working on Project Nautilus which is a key technology for IOT and streaming analytics. As Software Engineer in the UDS group, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise to work on innovative and cutting edge technologies. You will partner with our highly skilled technical advisors, who provide solutions to our customer’s most complex issues. You will constantly be challenged in developing and improving new and current technologies with the support of your team behind you.

You will be responsible for the software design and development for external customer products. You will utilize a range of applicable technologies (e.g., programming languages, compilers, assemblers, debuggers, other tools) for products used in local, networked, storage enhancements and/or new systems. Modifies existing software products to add new functions, adapt to new hardware, improve performance or enhance product usability. Participates in product development in all stages from planning and design to development, testing and documentation. Assists with the implementation of new or additional storage technology to improve infrastructure service, both locally and remotely.

Role Responsibilities

– Participates in the preparation, review and analysis of software/storage requirements and specifications

– Prepares written specifications from verbal requirements for tasks of mid-level complexity

– Prepares design, functional, technical and/or user documentation, as needed

– Uses defined software lifecycle methodologies

– Reviews and implements test strategies for software products

– Follows source code and file revision control for projects

– Clearly communicates project issues and status

– Accurately logs project schedule, defect, and other data

– Analyzes and prepares trend reports on quality metrics

– Participates in improving product quality through process and procedure improvements Provides full design, planning, configuration, documentation, deployment and top-level support ownership of storage infrastructure technologies.

As the Senior Lead| Software Engineer| you will apply your technical skills to
maintain and enhance Hilton|s systems| methods| products| and techniques. You
will work with build managers| architecture domains and other IT disciplines
as part of the Corporate Systems build team. You will be a criticall

important technical resource deployed within the context of busines

technology solution delivery projects to ensure overall stability an

You will be expected to be fully conversant with complex software development

Specifically| this position develops| tests| debugs| and documents application

Bringing to bear your technical expertise and analytical skills| you will work

for Hilton|s applications and platforms.

More specifically| you will:

Demonstrate a mastery of multiple technology stacks in use to code/configure quality solutions that require limited rework and meet business/end-user needs by adhering to standard methodologies.
Engage with digital HR leadership and various IT partners and vendors in the delivery of key projects and steady state activities for Hilton.
Investigate system functional and technical issues and generating solutions which may include system modifications| enhancements or new procedures.
Design and build complex interfaces or integrations between Oracle Fusion and other third-party systems.
Provide production support by solving Incidents/Problems and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
Deliver maintenance and enhancements for existing software or packaged applications.

Excellent technical and functional understanding of HR modules like Global HR| Time and Labor and Payroll in support of Oracle HCM integrations| fast formulas| BIP reporting and HCM extracts
Experience Fast Formulas and Oracle HCM Integrations
Solid experience in building complex HCM extracts in Payroll and HR
Hands on experience in OTBI/BIP Reporting and dashboards| and HDL/PBL/other spreadsheet loaders
Self-starters| who take initiative in implementing goals| utilizing analytical skills| and possessing adaptability to change
Demonstrable track record of managing technical issues in both Core HR| Performance| Learning and Payroll
Good business knowledge of Human Resources processes and standard methodologies
Supports Employee and Manager Self-Service functionality
Adheres to coding standards/procedures and participates in code reviews
Assists the Tester in designing and ensuring the overall integrity of the test plan
Experience with ‘as a service| platforms or relevant hosting environments
Direct experience developing similar solutions to the product supported
Ability to create a technical specification and product design from published requirements
Mentorship of team members to facilitate and guide the growth in technical disciplines incorporated at Hilton

To fulfill this role successfully| you should demonstrate the following
minimum qualifications:

Ten (10) years of IT experience
Seven (7) years of software/platform design and implementation experience
Five (5) years IT project management experience
Business travel of approximately 5%

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following
capabilities and distinctions:

BA/BS Bachelor|s Degree
Twelve (12) years of IT experience
Nine (9) years of software/platform design and implementation experience
Four (4) years of software/platform design and implementation experience with cloud applications/technologies
Oracle EBS experience| Oracle HCM| and/or ERP Application experience| such as PeopleSoft HCM| where duties included requirements gathering| system analysis| solution design| implementation enhancements| upgrade| development| testing| production support| solution delivery
