What you’ll be doing
Collaborate with stakeholders on creating data-driven insights and customer behavior analysis that can indicate business opportunities
Coordinate with business planners and decision makers to translate business questions into verifiable hypothesis

Design and run statistical tests to understand the effectiveness of Provi’s product development and advertising effectiveness

What we’re looking for
3+ years of experience in an analytical role, ideally in high-growth startups or similar dynamic environments
Proven track record of making recommendations and identifying trends from complex and diverse data sets
High internal motivation and curiosity with ability to initiate and own analysis from start to finish
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
3+ years working with statistical tools such such Python, R or SAS3+ years working with SQL in a data warehouse environment
3+ years working with spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets
2+ years working with visualization and reporting tools such as Domo or Tableau
Prior experience in marketplace business is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years experience in geospatial data structures
Strong system analysis skills – data interpretation and explanation of condition, trends etc.

Your Impact
You will lead and deliver data analytics support to maintenance and capital planning and optimization initiatives with some of the largest, iconic infrastructure owners and operators, across multiple sectors in the United States.
Work within our maintenance optimization and asset management planning and systems implementation delivery teams providing data analytics support and contributing to the development of new asset data standards, defining improved asset maintenance and capital strategies, and data process improvements
Work collaboratively within a team leveraging your experience and understanding of data analytics, asset management systems and related technologies, and knowledge of maintenance reliability
Work with our clients to extract and cleanse data and information to fully leverage existing data sets, and determine analytic approaches
Use state of the art asset data analytics tools and business intelligence platforms.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

In recognition of the full strategic suite of services offered by Advisory Services, the following degree requirements apply:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Data Sciences, Business, Economics, Finance, Urban or Transportation Planning, Environmental Studies, Liberal Arts, Public Policy, Operations Research, or closely related discipline.
7 to 10 years of relevant post education experience in discipline and in a management consulting or client advisory capacity.
Proficient with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management; including active involvement in a variety of rehabilitation and new design projects.
Extensive knowledge of management consulting and ability to coordinate with clients, agency regulators and understand requirements.
A good understanding of infrastructure, equipment maintenance and management
A good understanding of, and ability to apply technologies used to support data and information analysis and management – for example; Excel, Access, SQL, R, Python, Machine Learning, Tableau, Power BI
An understanding of the use and structure of Enterprise Asset Management Systems – including Maximo, Infor, and other systems
Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional IQ
Strong team player who can get things done
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.

The GDIT Web Application and Development Team (TZDev) seeks to fill a full-time, Database Administrator role, to provide dedicated support to the Center for Computational Toxicology & Exposure (CCTE) project within the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

This role is situated on a team that provides IT infrastructure and application support to disperse information developed in CCTE and will routinely interface with a variety of personnel, including Developers (Java), Data Engineers, System Administrators, Scientists, and Project Managers.

The selected candidate will interface with a Product Team and CCTE subject matter experts and will be responsible for but not limited to installation, capacity planning, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, administration & management of user accounts, troubleshooting, disaster recovery as well as backup and data recovery to ensure the availability and consistent performance of CCTE’s scientific software and applications.

Description of Function:

Install, configure, administer, manage, and document MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL (MongoDB) in a Master with Replicas configuration across several nodes already procured by CCTE for high availability and high-performance scenarios
Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution
Advise Division management officials regarding integration of IT programs with other programs of equivalent scope and complexity. Lead engineering and architecture activities related to database performance monitoring & optimization
Develop new theories, concepts principles and work methods to significantly improve relational and non-relational data stores for designing, configuring, implementing, and documenting relational and non-relational data stores consisting of main-replica systems. Manage database assets including maintenance of inventory and related documentation
Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide expert level Database Administrator services for production, stage, and development databases across all platforms. Works closely with senior developers and data modelers to perform physical database design for critical business applications/databases with the largest numbers of interfaces and users and complex query tuning and schema.
Use expert communication and collaboration skills to advise leadership regarding integration of IT programs with other programs of equivalent scope and complexity; lead engineering and architecture activities; provide domain and technical expertise, provide technical mentorship and cross-training to peers and team members
Work involves analyzing the user experience of a variety of Agency IT programs and recommending design changes that can enhance the user experience
Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experience

Experience working in Linux environments

The likely salary range for this position is $77,875 – $130,062, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Responsibilities

· Designs and defines architectures for future-state IT capabilities and services.

· Troubleshoot database and server issues
