Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer/ Project Manager
in our Chantilly- VA office. This position will work on exciting projects
related to stormwater management design- drainage design- best management
practices- watershed planning studies- MS4 permit compliance and the like.
Projects are local- statewide and federal. Position will require use of
cutting edge techniques and designs that will impact future projects
regionally and globally.
Responsibilities include- but are not limited to:
Works on exciting projects related to stormwater management design- drainage design- best management practices- watershed planning studies- MS4 permit compliance and the like.

Projects are local- statewide and federal- and local travel required.

Position will require use of cutting edge techniques and designs that will impact future projects regionally and globally.

Professionally presents themselves as a positive face of the company to current and potential clients.

Interacts with clients- understands their needs- add converses with regulators on their behalf.

Perform hydraulic analysis- drainage and grading design- specification writing- prepare design documents and report preparation.

Direct a project team in the design of civil works projects.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor`s degree in Engineering

6 years of Engineering experience

2 years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

10 years of Engineering experience

Professional Engineer license (PE)

Experience with stormwater management design- drainage design- best management practices- watershed planning studies- MS4 permit compliance and the like

Experience with local travel

Experience with cutting edge techniques and designs that will impact future projects regionally and globally

Experience as a positive face of the company to current and potential clients

Experience interacting with clients- understanding their needs- and adding converses with regulators on their behalf

Experience performing hydraulic analysis- drainage and grading design- specification writing- prepare design documents and report preparation.

Experience directing a project team in the design of civil works projects.
