AECOM Security Specialist – Senior in Tampa- Florida

Job Summary
Provide support to the USCENTCOM Special Security Office (CCJ2-SSO) in
managing the Command Information Security- Personnel Security- and Physical
Security Programs. Physically inspect and document findings for USCENTCOM
Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accreditation in order to
identify deficiencies affecting SCIF accreditations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Monitor information system activity- collect- review- and retain audit logs to include system logs and records and determine actions to be taken when discrepancies are detected.
Physically inspect and document findings for USCENTCOM Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accreditation in order to identify deficiencies affecting SCIF accreditations.
Perform and maintain all annual SCIF accreditation and inspection checklists.

Manage the access badge system located at the USCENTCOM Visitor Center

Conduct network security vulnerability assessments using DoD provided scanning tools and liaison with network administrators to correct identified problems.

Weekly Activity Report (WAR)

Quarterly History Report.

SSO Pre-Deployment Training Package

SSO Security Managers Inspection Results.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

Active Top Secret SCI clearance required.

Bachelor`s degree and more than 8 years of experience as a Security Professional. Experience working at a Combatant Command Security Office or deployed as an SSO or served as an FSO. Must be able to function independently as a senior level SSO.

Completed DIA SSO course or equivalent.

Security Plus Certification and Security System Certified Professional – or equivalent other two DoD Approved 8570 IAT Level II certifications- at least one IAT Level III certification is preferred OR Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (DoD) and experience using American Magnetics (AMAG) Access Control systems and Control Point Closed Circuit TV or equivalent system- and experience with wireless security and a strong Physical Security background OR Expertise using JPAS- Scattered Castles- CATS- DISS or equivalent Personnel Security System.

Must maintain DoD 8570.1 certification requirements for IAT-II.
