AECOM Security Specialist – Mid in Tampa- Florida

Provide support to the USCENTCOM Special Security Office (CCJ2-SSO) in
managing the Command Information Security- Personnel Security- and Physical
Security Programs. Physically inspect and document findings for USCENTCOM
Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accreditation in order to
identify deficiencies affecting SCIF accreditations
1) Monitor information system activity- collect- review- and retain audit logs
to include system logs and records and determine actions to be taken when
discrepancies are detected.
2) Physically inspect and document findings for USCENTCOM Sensitiv
Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accreditation in order to identif
deficiencies affecting SCIF accreditations.
3) Perform and maintain all annual SCIF inspection checklists.
4) Maintain the access badge system and provide customer service at the
USCENTCOM Visitor Center
5) Conduct network security vulnerability assessments using DoD provided
scanning tools and liaison with network administrators to correct identified
6) Weekly Activity Report (WAR)
7) Quarterly History Report.
8) SSO Pre-Deployment Training Package
9) SSO Security Managers Inspection Results.
10) Maintain and document daily inspection records for all PDSs to help
preclude and detect tampering.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested
Active Top Secret SCI clearance required.
5-8 years of experience as a Security professional;
Bachelor`s Degree and 5-6 years of experience as a Security Professional or Associate`s degree and 8 years of Security experience.
Completed the DIA SSO course or equivalent.
Possess progressive work experience in the areas of Information System Security- System/Network Administration and IT System Implementation and Maintenance.
Additional requirements include:
Must maintain DoD 8570.1 certification requirements for IAT-II.
Host Based Security System (HBSS) Training Certification of Completion.
