Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an PM Coordinator for the Bluegrass Chemical Agent
Destruction Pilot Plant project located in Richmond- KY.
Typical Responsibilities Include
Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees
Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations
May be required to work overtime or varying hours to include shift work
Be at work when scheduled and maintain a good attendance record
Work in close proximity to and or in a chemical demilitarization facility
Preventive Maintenance (PM) Coordinator is responsible for regeneration of scheduled preventive maintenance- instrument calibration and surveillance tasks

Identification and elimination of duplicate requests

Ensure work is scheduled within the established frequency

Monitor monthly performance of scheduled tasks

Support/identify and take action to revise technical procedures when identified as necessary

Ensure procurement of required materials

Provide estimates- by craft- of the number of labor hours required to complete the work safely and in compliance with project procedures

May solicit assistance and input of the appropriate system engineer in developing the work orders; support organizations such as Quality- Safety and Environmental to determine what specific requirements- if any- are pertinent to performance of the work; maintenance supervision and craft labor to discuss the job site- special considerations that may need to be factored into performance of the work- and expeditors to determine availability of required materials to perform the work

Review actual hours spent to complete the work- actively solicit and review any comments submitted by craft labor concerning the performance of work and the quality of work package- and capture this data in the CMMS to enhance quality and accuracy of future work packages

Perform complex technical assignments associated with the development and coordination of work cycle development and planning- coordinating- tracking and analyzing data on scheduled and emergency outage work

Under limited direction perform complex technical work utilizing advanced techniques and a diversified knowledge of related project management principles and utilize wide variety of resources- including computers

Develop and maintain a close working relationship with Work Control Manager- Work Control Coordinators- other work management personnel- and other department managers on unusual or specialized problems for new and ongoing activities

Responsibilities include data input and status into a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Conduct work activities in a safe- environmentally sound- cost effective- and disciplined manner that protects the health and safety of the workers- the public- and environment

Provide technical support to the Work Control Coordinators- Work Control Manager- and other Work Control personnel in respective areas of the work management process

Assist in the planning and preparation of schedule information for input into the systemization- production and outage schedules

Interface and interact in a variety of cross-functional areas including quality management and assurance- procurement- maintenance- operations- safety- surety- environmental- systems engineering- and work and project management

Make recommendations for alternative work management methods to avoid delays in the development of work packages

May participate in the preparation and implementation of short-term functional schedules and plans

Provide counsel to management on the practices and procedures for developing and maintaining efficient and effective work management processes

Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of oral and written technical reports

Develop technical solutions and workarounds using ability to understand work activity planning tasks and communicate technical information to management and peers to expedite operations that delay functional schedules and plans and alter schedules to meet and address unforeseen conditions

Assist Work Control Manager- Work Control Coordinators- and other Work Control personnel with planning- writing- and editing department plans- procedures- and other project documents required for the performance of work activities on plant systems and equipment

Ensure that post-maintenance testing of systems- equipment- and components under operational conditions are planned and scheduled- ensuring optimum use of resources and minimum impact to plant operations

Ensures integration with other departments (e g – Operations- Engineering- Maintenance- Safety- QA- etc ) is accomplished when preparing cycle schedule and outage plans and establishing related work priorities

Ensure work orders are in compliance with project directive documents; assist in the determination of work priority- and establish workflow processes that support work management and plant goals

Coordinate the timely development and release of controlled work packages- task requests- and work orders to support the schedule commitments with particular emphasis on the cyclic schedule and planned outages

Monitor assignments to ensure that they are within the agreed scope- schedule and budget and that the work is being performed to outlined policies and expectations

Evaluate routine- complex- and unusual work order packages and instructions that support work activities including pre-planning- material staging/requisitioning/expediting- labor estimating- field evaluation/walkdown- and all other field support as required as related to the cyclic schedule and outage schedules

Schedule work activities in a manner that ensures project resources are efficiently allocated to support applicable phases of BGCAPP operations- and in a manner that promotes safe- environmentally sound- and efficient plant operations

Interface and coordinate with other project personnel as required to support work activities (Systemization- Maintenance- Engineering- Operations- etc )- determining the status of tasks to be completed

Confer with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects and convey/relay concerns about administrative issues and deadlines

Review and analyze delays in schedule- expedite any work activities that require work packages that delay schedule- and coordinate schedule changes needed to encompass unforeseen conditions and to reflect work progress

Assist other departments with identifying scheduling- tooling- and manpower requirements needed for modification/revision tasks to plant systems- and equipment as related to the cyclic schedule and outage preparations

Support cyclic schedule and outage preparations by acting as liaison with other departments related to corrective or modification work activities to provide technical expertise by analyzing- planning- and coordinating all required work packages and instructions (including preventive maintenance- corrective maintenance- and calibration tasks)

Minimum Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in engineering- construction- business administration or related field and 5 years of maintenance/production planning experience- including a thorough knowledge of a variety of operating activities- such as purchasing- materials- production processes and engineeringOr

Associate degree and 9 years of maintenance/production planning experience- including a thorough knowledge of a variety of operating activities- such as purchasing- materials- production processes and engineering Or

High school diploma/equivalent and 13 years of maintenance/production planning experience- including a thorough knowledge of a variety of operating activities- such as purchasing- materials- production processes and engineering

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a US or naturalized citizen able to obtain and maintain BGCAPP site access

Must be computer literate in common software applications and able to operate general office equipment

Must maintain fitness-for-duty standards to perform the essential functions of the position- to include any depot or BGCAPP drill- contingency and/or emergency requirement

Have thorough understanding of equipment operations- maintenance requirements- maintenance restrictions imposed by safety and environmental regulations

Able to read and interpret blueprints- drawings- layouts and specifications

Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

Understanding of planning/scheduling theories- concepts- and techniques associated with construction- systemization testing and/or process operation and maintenance

Experience in a toxic or hazardous materials or heavy industrial work environment

BGCAPP is subject to Army Regulations (AR50-6 Chemical Surety Program and
AR190-59 Unescorted Access Program) which govern persons performing work under
the Chemical Personnel Reliability Program (CPRP) and Unescorted Access
Program (UAP). Eligibility to be placed in a CPRP or UAP position requires US
citizenship. Employees must favorably complete a series of screenings to
include but not limited to: A National Agency Check with Local Agency Check
and Credit Check (NACLC) security investigation- drug/alcohol testing and
medical examination.

All employees are subject to and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a
condition of continued employment for the duration of their assignment.
Respiratory screening and the ability to wear PPE (Personal Protective
Equipment) may be required for this position. The ability to obtain/maintain
access to the Blue Grass Army Depot is required.
