The beautiful Hilton Houston Convention Center is looking for a dynamic
Marketing & eCommerce Manager to join their team!
What will I be doing?
A Marketing & eCommerce Manager collaborates extensively with the hotel|s
commercial leaders| and is responsible for the reporting| analysis and
tactical activation of digital marketing that promotes revenue growth among
key customer segments and supports the hotel|s brand positioning and image.
The position also acts as a liaison between the hotel and Hilton marketing
support including ECG and the Managed Support Team| outside agencies and
contracted vendors/service providers as determined by the hotel| and practices
overall project management to ensure the implementation of comprehensive
marketing programs. In working with the hotel commercial team to set strategy

the manager executes and tracks performance focused on online content

reputation management| social media| and driving digital demand. The manage

engages with corporate resources on SEO and SEM| and prepares monthly analysi

for internal and external stakeholders on hotel-level performance across paid|
owned| social and earned digital media.

Specifically| you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to
the highest standards:

30% Media and Demand Tactics : Utilizes the Amplify process and tool
to support hotel strategies to ensure appropriate tactics are in market based
on business goals. Uses feeder market data| target audiences| competitive
research and market behavior to maximize media performance. Measures and
reports on ROI of media plan. Works with agencies / in house resources as
needed to develop / review creative assets/copy and ensures all materials are
provided to publishers in a timely manner and within company guidelines.

25% Strategy & Analysis: Develops hotel positioning with commercial
leaders and guides cohesive digital strategy with short and long term
objectives. Serves as the hotel leader in reporting and analysis of the key
performance indicators such as quality online content| conversion and
increasing digital demand. Has a strong command of SEO and SEM| and provides
analysis to hotel general manager| revenue management and sales to ensure
strategy and tactics are aligned to achieve hotel needs. Provides monthly
business review to key internal and external stakeholders with qualitative and
quantitative data to drive continual improvement. Refines strategy based on
analysis| market share| and changing business environment. Has strong
knowledge of multi-channel marketing| target audiences| and attribution
models.

20% In-house Marketing : Work with marKIT and local design firms to
design and produce marketing collateral material in the hotel for Sales +
Marketing and Food + Beverage. Brochures| posters| marketing cards and
merchandising.

15% Advertising: Design and manage publishing schedule for ad
campaigns. Partner with Destination Houston on print and radio promotions for
the hotel where appropriate.

10% Budget : Develops and manages property eCommerce marketing budget
(including ad buys| email marketing| GDS| etc). Ensures marketing budget
supports the digital marketing strategy and prioritizes spend based on
targeted ROI goals and hotel objectives
