Job Summary
The Manager, Cybersecurity is an experienced leadership role within the Liberty Mutual Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) aligned to the Advanced Cyber Threat Team.
This leadership role is responsible for a highly technical team of incident responders, threat hunters, and cyber intel analysts who respond and proactively find and mitigate cyber threats.
The Manager, Cybersecurity will report directly to the Director of the Cyber Security Operations Center.
The successful candidate will work at the intersection of Cyber Threat Hunting, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Malware Analysis & Reverse Engineering, and Digital Forensics & Incident Response.
Responsibilities include aligning to the values of Liberty Mutual, driving the mission & vision of the Cyber Security Operations Center, coaching, and mentoring cybersecurity engineers, and maturing the team’s capabilities and processes.
Job Responsibilities
Lead a global and diverse team of Cyber Threat Intel/Threat Hunters
Communicate and translate the direction and vision of strategic initiatives into tactical work efforts for execution by team members.
Provide prioritization and execution of tactical intel & threat hunting requirements working in partnership with CSOC product owners and leadership.
Perform performance management, team, and individual development, and coaching and mentoring as needed.
Drive collaboration with the Offensive Security team to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls against identified TTPs.
Drive the creation and dissemination of finished cyber threat hunting/threat intelligence products and briefings as needed.
Create and report operational metrics and KPIs working with other leaders across the CSOC.
Serve as a Management Lead on a global cybersecurity incident response team with an on-call requirement.
