Job Summary
The AECOM Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) Group is looking for an
experienced equipment operator to be based out of our Pittsburgh- PA Office.
In addition to the primary equipment operation duties- the selected individual
will also be expected to perform other duties such as the O&M of remedial
treatment systems- demolition activities- etc. and perform general maintenance
of both rental and company owned equipment. All workers must understand and
follow project-specific safety protocols in accordance with company policies &
Minimum Requirements

A valid driver`s license is required.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the operation of heavy equipment such as large tracked excavators- bulldozers- loaders (tracked and wheeled)- off-road dump trucks and/or hydraulic shears on environmental remediation / construction / demolition projects.

Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be able to work in protective clothing- including a respirator.

Assignments may include work on out-of-town projects that may require the individual to travel for extended periods (up to 3 weeks) to a project site.

All workers must understand and follow project-specific safety protocols in accordance with company policies & procedures.

Must successfully complete or have already obtained OSHA 40-Hour Training- which is mandatory for the position.

Additional Information:

Due to the nature of work- candidate must be a US Citizen.

Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

Preferred Qualifications

Current OSHA 40-hour training already completed.
