Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Scientist for
employment in the Minneapolis- MN office. Responsibilities will involve
supporting projects of various size and scope in field and office setting in
contaminant investigation- environmental permitting- and environmental due
diligence.

The responsibilities of this position include- but are not limited to:

Oversee and work with subcontractors- enforce safety requirements- and document observations.

Complete assigned field tasks safely- such as soil logging- monitoring well installation- media sampling- testing- and water level/groundwater gradient surveys.

Technical report preparation.

Ability to work outdoors year-round

Utilizes basic scientific principles- theories- practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.

Collects and enters data- and applies technical principles and theories.

Interprets and records data- conducts analyses- compares findings to relevant studies and local- state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.

AECOM will provide 40­hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.

Travel will be required- potentially including out-of-state short-term overnight stays.

Entry-level position; may not require previous experience.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to travel- including out-of-state- short-term overnight stays

Ability to work outdoors year-round

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word- PowerPoint- Excel)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
