Hilton Portland is currently seeking to fill a COMMUNICATIONS/TELEPHONE
OPERATOR position paying $16.47 per hour ($14.82 per hour starting wage)|

We are seeking motivated and energetic Team Members who:

– Have prior customer service experience

– Has the ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings| evenings|
overnight| weekdays| weekends and holidays

_Must be able to work any shift based off of Union seniority| however|
will most likely work about 16-24 hours per week during the overnight
shift._

What will I be doing?

As a Telephone Operator| you would be responsible for answering and responding
to internal and external calls in the hotel|s continuing effort to deliver
outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically| you would
be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues via telephone in a timely| friendly and efficient manner

Provide information and demonstrate knowledge of all hotel facilities and services

Respond to emergencies and document and relay comprehensive| accurate information to proper parties in emergency situations

Accept and deliver all messages promptly and accurately| utilizing proper grammar and spelling

Operate office equipment including| but not limited to| computers| PBX system| fax machine| e-mail| etc.

What are we looking for?

_Requirements_

High school diploma or equivalent required. Position requires a flexible
schedule to work any shift including days| nights| overnight| weekdays|
weekends| and holidays (hours will vary based on business and seniority). Must
have minimum of six months previous customer service experience.
