With a prime location across the street from the University of Notre Dame|
this property has 165 rooms| our complimentary breakfast and evening
reception| and 8|000 square feet in banquet space. The ideal candidate will be

developing others. At least 2 years of food and beverage leadership experience
is required.

What will I be doing?
As Restaurant Manager with Embassy Suites South Bend| you wil

direct and organize the activities and services of our Traditions

Restaurant and Bar| as well as In Room Dining.

You would be responsible for keeping the restaurant in high-functioning
working order through exemplary cleanliness| organization and reliability.
Specifically| you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to
the highest standards:

Manage all outlet operations to include| but not limited to| guest service standards and initiatives| product quality| cost controls and overall profitability| marketing initiatives| systems use and management| department management| policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation

Monitor and develop team member performance to include| but not limited to| providing supervision and professional development| conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward

Monitor and assess product and service and satisfaction trends| evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly.

Ensure the outlet is relevant and following current Food and Beverage trends| and help build awareness of the outlet to the local community through the social media sites| and other marketing initiatives in coordination with the Food and Beverage Director.

Ensure compliance with health| safety| sanitation and alcohol awareness standards

Initiate and implement marketing and up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue

Ensure team members have current knowledge of outlet offerings| products| services| facilities| events| pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and events

Recruit| interview and train team members

Assist the Director of Food and Beverage with data input| reporting and tracking restaurant financials.
